// How It Was Done

The problem

Liquidation work across the Cayman Islands meant monitoring the registry and judiciary, pulling registries and gazettes, and reconciling and reporting across active matters by hand: billable hours spent on gathering rather than judgement.

Who it was for

IMS Limited, an international company in the Cayman Islands, led on this work by Carlos Bourgy, Head of Restructuring & Insolvency.

What Zenias did

We built a system that automates a significant portion of IMS's liquidation service offering across the Cayman Islands. The tool scrapes data from the Cayman Islands registry and judiciary in real time, pulls registries and gazettes, and turns the lot into an interactive dashboard. It also assists with financial reconciliation and reporting across active matters. We then trained Carlos on its use and technical stack, and consulted him on getting more out of ChatGPT and Claude for his day-to-day AI needs.

Engagement shape

Development, strategy, training and integration in one engagement: the system was built, the person who runs it was trained on it and on the wider AI tools he uses day to day. Every engagement follows the same method: Discover, Scope, Test, Launch.

Data and security

The system works from public registry, judiciary and gazette sources and the firm's own matter data. Systems Zenias builds run on private servers or VPCs, and client data is never used to train external AI models. How We Handle Data & Security.
